Ranking Moore School faculty rank high in international business research publishing
The Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina (USC), ranked in the Top 5 of 50 universities worldwide in terms of the total number of articles published between 1995 and 2004 in four leading international business journals. The rankings, which appear in the 2006 issue of the International Business Review, are based on a comprehensive study of IB research that was conducted by faculty members at Western Kentucky University, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. USC faculty members published 35 articles over the ten-year period in four prestigious IB journals: Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, International Business Review, and Management International Review. In terms of total number of appearances in the journals cited, Chinese University of Hong Kong ranked first, followed by the University of Leeds, Copenhagen Business School, Michigan State University, and the University of South Carolina. There were 24 U.S. institutions in the Top 50, followed by nine institutions in the United Kingdom.
